About the Author

I was born in Bulgaria. My home town, Asenovgrad, is located in the skirts of the Rodopi Mountain and the Chaia river runs through it. I grew up there surrounded by love and care and was raised by my family to believe in the beauty of life and all it has to offer. When I was 15 years old I moved to the United States in February of 2001 along with my parents and younger sister. I found a second home in Atlanta and grew to love it dearly. For me, the journey to love and to myself has been greatly influenced by the arts. Having grown up in a family of authors and educators, I have always been lifted by music and expressed myself in paint and the written word.
