As I walked down the hallway filled with earsplitting voices of students and the sound of lockers shutting, I became aware of a sudden peace in the atmosphere. Standing there was nothing short of a gift from God that had been gift-wrapped for my eyes only. Although this five foot eleven male figure was perfect from head to toe, it was something about his spirit that calmed the noisy hallway. He moved with a certain humility that made his bowlegs stand out even more. As he walked away from his locker, to go to his next class, I could see the uniqueness in him. I knew there was more than what met the eye. As my friend, Claudia and I continued down the hallway, my eyes stayed on him, monitoring his every move. When I realized he was headed to the same History class as me, both a smile and nervousness came over me. With the intent of making sure I remained a few steps behind him, I walked in a slow and relaxed manner. As I entered the classroom, he greeted me with a concise but cute smile. Naturally, this gave me every reason to believe he anticipated my arrival.

About the Book
Love is a warm and beautiful feeling that is hard to capture with an explanation. You have to experience it fully to understand it. We can share with one another our different experiences with love, but I truly believe hands-on-training is required to master it. There are no prerequisites needed. Fall in love with God and instantly you are enrolled in the class. It’s easy to maintain straight A’s while pursuing this major. Everything you need He gives you in His text and all of His tests are open book. So for those of you out there looking for love in the wrong place, try loving God and He will lead you to that perfect face.

Lisa N. Aldridge-Jones is an awesome woman of God. She believes in real talk, as it is the only way to help people with real needs. Lisa loves the Lord and his people and desires to see everyone walk in what God has for them. Her heart and compassion for women are shown through mentoring and sharing everything God has placed inside of her. The Lord uses her in many capacities. Specifically, He uses her to encourage women to love their husbands through prayer, to encourage their children in Christ, and to be content but not comfortable where they are. She is truly an asset to the body of Christ. As you continue to read, I pray that you will allow these words to minister to you.
