About the Author

Mique duChéne is a clinical hypnotist counselor of Anishanaabe/Scot descent. She holds an MS in human services as well as an MS in alternative health sciences. A lifelong singer/musician, she plays a number of instruments, including hammered dulcimer, Native American flutes, and baroque tractor pipe organ. She writes books because she loves the escapism and hopes her books provide substance and meaning, particularly for children. Known for preferring the “road less traveled,” she lives on a boat on the Columbia River near Portland, Oregon, with her cat, Mama, several hundred books, and three goldfish, all named Bob. Her next release is The Adventures of Dragoon and the Becker Mountain Mamas.
