About the Book

The sweet whispers from God are penned from divine appointments with the Holy Spirit. These precious whispers are to encourage the people of God that the most important thing in life is to have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Just like God to whisper will let you know that God wants to speak sweet whispers to you and understand your whispers will be sweet but may be different. This book is not the Bible but is intended to point you to the Bible where getting to know Him is the beginning of a true relationship. Yes the Holy Spirit is still speaking in this perverse generation. These richly posed poems and poetries will hopefully enable you to seek Him the more.

About the Author

Joyce Goodwin Nelson has lived in Houston Texas for 37 years. She is married to James R. Nelson and has many god children’s with Aaden being the youngest. She attends the Greater Law Memorial Church of God in Christ. She is a graduate of the UH/DC. She is a vital employee at the M D Anderson Cancer Center after 32 years. Her hobbies are reading, witnessing, volunteering, decorating and shopping for antiques. She is the author of Topics for the Age: Flowing Like a River.
