About the Author

Milton R. Crane grew up on the Southside of Chicago(Englewood) where he was raised by loving & giving Parents and poverty was no secret in his community. In February of 2006 at the age of 37 Milton began his Mission in the nonprofit sector by being employed by the Greater Chicago food depository where he started as a forklift operator and after 1 year of service. He worked his way up to volunteer group leader of the production Team. With this position he was then surrounded by a diverse Group of co-workers, Humanitarians and volunteers. To where he was inspired and developed a passion for volunteerism and to help feed the hungry. His Motivation & communication with people was a inspiration for thousands of volunteers throughout his tenure at the food bank.
