About the Book
The Storms family is one of the wealthiest families in South Africa. They have an international business, and all around the world, pieces of documents are hidden and the villains are looking for them. Things start to get really risky when the daughter, Elizabeth, is kidnapped, and her father, who owns the worldwide corporation, is doing everything in his power to save her. Her brother makes a rescue attempt but also gets captured by the villains. Later a hit-and-run chase begins in the early morning in Harrismith. Elizabeth’s friend James saves his brother, Sean, in the nick of time from a black SUV that was about to run him down. But little do they know that government operatives are the ones chasing them to stop them from getting to Emma, the corporation’s device artificer and the corporation’s skillful foreign-mission peer. Emma is one of Elizabeth’s friend’s cousins. Emma is a loyal field agent, and with her status quo, she’s guarding the first piece of the document in her headquarters in Harrismith. She only needs two pieces of the documents so that she can teleport herself to the second keeper in Chad. Emma already knows about Elizabeth and William’s kidnapping, and she has already planned a rescue mission along with Elizabeth’s father. She contacts the kidnappers, and they decide to give them a location for the rendezvous point. Elizabeth’s friends save the day, and the Amber documents save Emma from death. They are all moved to the next level of training in the company for showing courage and bravery. It’s time for celebration.
About the Author
I did homeschooling up to Grade 10 in 2005. I start writing my first novel after that and finished in May 2009 but never get to publish it, continuously editing and changing the manuscript where I think it will improve the story line. I am working in a book & stationery shop during the day and in quiet times think of plots that can being developed in a possible story. I received a book award from the local library for a short story competition that I entered in 2007. I also wrote a few short stories that is still unpublished but kept in a safe place for later use. I love horse riding and have my own horse kept on a nearby farm of a friend and go as many times as possible for a day. I grew up in Cape Town but moved to Harrismith in the Freestate South Africa when I was 11 years and still lives here.
