About the Book
“Angelo and Peter” was one of the projects that went unfinished. His dream was to get the book published, but it never made it to fruition. The characters Pete and Angelo were pet’s of Ted and Tony’s that they bought after moving into their first apartment in Barneveld, New York. Ted admired the friendship that their parakeet and Dachshund had and decided the story was worthy of sharing. When Ted passed away Tony decided that publishing Ted’s book was a fitting memorial to his best friends memory. The book reflects their own friendship and clearly illustrates how two very different personalities can form an everlasting bond.
About the Author
Theodore Harry Kagiliery, “Teddy”, was born to Greek immigrants in Kittery, Maine in 1936. Ted’s bigger than life personality and quick wit made him a force to be reckoned with. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree that prepared him as a freelance artist and an art teacher. Ted loved theater, music, photography, gardening, screen printing, painting, clothing design and his pets. After college in 1961 he and his lifelong friend, Anthony “Tony” moved to upstate New York, where they both started their 30 year careers as art teachers and where Ted settled down to marry and raise a family.
