Jody Carroll and Kim Dowers are author and illustrator who are both from Southwest Louisiana. They have worked together to produce this spin-off from their “Mitsy Morgan” series. The Mitsy Morgan series and The Adventures of Marty Morgan series both use fun words and bright pictures to entertain and excite children about language. Mitsy Morgan is currently world-wide. Jody is a mother of four and has a Master's degree in The Art of Teaching. Kim has raised three children and has a Master's degree in Education Administration. Both are teachers and enjoy contributing to public speaking, book workshops and school read nights locally.

About the Author
Jody Carroll is an author and mother of four who grew up and still loves her home in Southwest Louisiana. Jody has a Master’s degree in The Art of Teaching and teaches elementary school and does freelance writing. She also writes a series titled, "Mitsy Morgan" and she spends her free time being a soccer mom, reading and writing. Jody and her husband, Ryan, love being silly with their kids and she is inspired by her everyday adventures to create her fantastical stories of monkey mayhem.
Kim Dowers is an illustrator and has two girls and one son, all in their twenties. Kim is the third oldest child in a family of 14, has a Master's degree in Educational Administration, and works as a teacher. She is a children’s church minister ,speaker at various events, and enjoys landscaping, fishing with her husband and reading every chance she gets. Her vivid personality and her ability to liven up a room is unmatched. Kim’s bright bold illustrations convey a fun and imaginative world that children can join in and relate to.
