About the Author

My name is Kathrine Hughes. My husband, Michael, and I have been married for 16 years and we have three wonderful boys, Johnathan 14, Benjamin 8, and Bradley 5. I love to read and I love to use my imagination to it's fullest and that is what helps me with my writing. Reading to my children is fun and I love to show them how I get into the character when I read, making myself sound like what I think the character would. Being a parent is the best thing the I could ask for in life, making my children my life. I have lived in Arizona for 27 years, before that I lived in Florida, Mississippi, Idaho, and Oregon. I grew up with 9 brothers and sisters on a farm in Oregon. Growing up on a farm taught me so much about team work and family values. My parents live in Missouri and are great avocates for me and my dreams. I currently work as a manager in a retail store and I would love to see my book sitting on the shelf for parents to buy for their children and enjoy it together.
