Lucifer stared, his soul was telling him to run. Sprint through the wall and he would find her. She was only a little way away but needed him. It was burning him, the feeling of failure and being so close to helping. Taking one step round, Lucifer ignored the bouncers. Another step. Lucifer was holding back his urges the best he could… but that was not enough. The red in his eyes became bolder, even his blind eye shone a tinted red. He sprinted for the wall.
Sakura felt the beat of the oblivious club inside. The pulses strong but pointless. She could hear the breath of Rinji waiting ahead. Not too sure exactly where he was, Sakura concentrated on her sense of touch, so any attack could be retaliated against as quickly as possible. Her fingertips felt each crack, tip and bump of the brick. The sense was enhancing. Becoming much bolder and far, far more useful. Rinji’s breathing became the primary noise, not the beats of the nightclub. His heartbeat was the base behind the melody. Sakura pushed off the wall.
Bricks flew outward in an explosive shift. Debris scattered across the air in a hurry to be out of the bulldozer’s way. The grey dust filtered sight, showing only the red shine of the destruction’s eyes. The bald one and Kentaro stopped dead. Fixed. Target located, Lucifer snarled deep in his throat and launched at them. Sakura kept moving despite hearing Lucifer run through the wall. She knew it was him as no one else would do that. A sane person would use the door… but in her distraction… Rinji caught hold of her, tightly. In his element, Lucifer threw out a fist into the neck of his closest enemy. Fragile building blocks of man crumbled beneath his strike, the wind pipe collapsed instantly… but what did the most damage was the follow through to the spinal cord and the impact on the exposed exhaust. Blood oozed from his neck with pulsing bliss. The deep red colour made Lucifer laugh to himself, his eyes met Kentaro’s.
“Lucifer! You don’t have to kill them!” Sakura shouted whilst squirming under Rinji’s grasp, his groping hands trying to rip off her top. “Get off me!” Top off, cold and shivering, Sakura arched her head and crashed her forehead against his nose. More blood dripped.
“They deserve to die…” Lucifer growled. “No one crosses me.”
Rinji loosened his grip as pain throbbed all across his face. His nose was shattered and blood was dripping in heavy droplets from his nostrils. Sakura escaped, her cuts now filled with dirt from the ground. Though half naked, Sakura did not hesitate to run towards Lucifer. “Don’t you kill anyone else, Lucifer, you don’t need to!” Words spilled from her mouth before she thought. The door shook with worry. “If you must hurt them just knock them out, don’t be a fool.” Feeling the burning heat of Lucifer’s body, Sakura opened her arms and latched onto him.
Kentaro took advantage of Sakura’s embrace of Lucifer and ran for him. After the first step he felt regret… through Lucifer’s scarf – which had began to fall – his bloodthirsty grin was prominent. Steps slowed but a stop was not obtainable, Lucifer jolted his arms apart to release Sakura and he twisted… foot stomped out into Kentaro’s torso. The sound of cracking bones was music to Lucifer’s crazed ears. The red swirled in his eyes.
“Duck, Sakura.” Demand was instant, leg recoiled, still held up, Lucifer turned around and hooked his foot against Rinji’s face. The male slammed against the vehicle with tremendous force.
Blindfolded and distracted, Sakura grabbed a hold of her unwanted accessory. Yanking as hard as she could… the banshee overwhelmed her. Body gave way. Warms hands snatched her up.
“Lucifer…” she uttered under her breath as he held her directly in front of him. She felt his eyes burn into her as he at first inspected her wounds… but he himself became distracted. Right hand seized his top and pulled it off without care that his scarf was now resting against his shoulders. Face entirely exposed… but Sakura could not see and for that moment he could not care less.
The blissful heartbeat of hers returned to its calm level. Fright and fear were now long gone. Her white skin contrasted the dark stream of blood flowing down her cheek. Blonde hair was wilder but still kept under control by her clip. Stray strands stood on end. Her purple bra was clasping against her body the best it could, neatly pulling Sakura’s breasts together to create an enhanced cleavage. Flat stomach appeared untouched, but the layers of her skirt were more tattered than before. Legs were still standing but could not hide the fight. Small grazes and cuts were abstract in their placement but remained absolute. Shoes were scuffed but Lucifer did not pay much attention to them. He held his top out for Sakura.
“Wear this, to cover yourself.” His voice was deep, the one Sakura loved, not the pained red eyed voice… but Shiraha Lucifer. A smile crept against her face. Lucifer took a long breath in. Red still shining.
“Thank you.” Slotting her arms into the correct holes, Sakura was quick to embrace Lucifer again. Head against his torso… she felt that the scarf had fallen. “Will you help me get this thing off?”
“In a minute.” He replied swiftly. Sakura took a step back out of his embrace.
“Why not now?”
“There is something I want to do… first.” If Lucifer could have seen her eyes… maybe he would have been able to resist. The vault his desires sat in was well and truly open but without Sakura’s innocent expression to stop him, Lucifer had little to no control over himself. Another step back. The wall was two steps away.
