Author Steve Kistler is a retired science teacher and currently works as a cave guide at Mammoth Cave National Park. The Stolen Treasure of Mammoth Cave is his second book for middle school readers, following on the heels of The Mystery of Mammoth Cave. He and his wife enjoy birding, hiking, and exploring national parks around the U.S.
