Beyond Struggle

Persecution is not pecurial to wrongdoers or criminals; not only necessarily one is persecuted because he killed, conspired, stole or because he have done any other wrong thing. Sometimes, you may be wanted by those whose sole objective is to prevent you from enjoying your rights as a human being, using their power. This may become a serious threat to your life depending on who is persuing you and on the motives behind that manhunting. However, the experience taught me a number of things. One thing is that suffering is not the very end of our life. The other thing is that being bad does not provide any satisfaction; you don’t gain anything in being a bad person. One should weigh their dids and words. I have also learnt and understood how people use their power and positions they hold in society and how using power and position abusevely can affect others. Unfortenately as they oppress people, power abusers do not measure the consequences and the plight of this misuse of power and position and in the long run they end up taking it as normal. They therefore forget that the bad thing we do today will soon or late have grave consequences and that whatever we do we get paid for it while we still in this world. There are people who sometimes feel unhappy to see others enjoying their rights just because in their inner person they are only happy when others are under their control; when they can dictate what should happen to others. These people expect from others to do only what they dictate them (dictatorship), and whenever you take a decision against their will, it is a big sin that may even entail a punishment. Many people are oppressed in different ways not because they have done anything wrong but only because they are voiceless (they cannot speak for themselves) and hence they are at the mercy of the powerful. I have discovered that being voiceless doesn’t mean that one has to be in a given category or a given social class; everybody can become voiceless depending on the pressure exerted on them and depending on who is exerting such pressure.
