About the Book
"STEGOTA The Great" is the third and last book in the PROTO Series. It is the story of a little girl Stegosaurus who shows up to join the other animals of the farm and solves their problem of how to rejoin their long lost families. Attached to this book is a long list of questions on entire series. As a self test, readers are encouraged to answer said questions. Adults are most welcomed to get involved with the young ones.
About the Author
Often described as a Renaissance woman, grandma geny heywood is a mother, a grand-mother and a lifetime youth leader who understands children. Born in a french village in 1930, she immigrated to Canada in 1954, penniless and without valuable diplomas. A self made teacher to any child who wants to spend time with her, she has never stopped studying and is forever promoting literacy. Her PROTO series is a challenge to young readers who want to take the time to look up new words.
This author has her own children's program on ntv in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is called "grandma geny @ ntv", produced by Dean Tedesco and Steve Ingram.
Interviews are of children who want the world to hear what they have to say. Another group of guests is of young people who want to tell the world about their own special issues.
