About the Author
I'm a young aspiring Poet and I'm currently working on my AA degree in Journalism at Seminole State College of Florida. I started writing poetry about seven years ago, but really didn’t get serious until I won the Young Poets award in 2006. My work consists of love, life, personal experiences, or just created situations. Honestly, I haven't met a person that has the amount of passion or drive for poetry as I do. Within a year, I have been writing non-stop. I have also read many books and poems from a variety of people. Some of my inspirations for writing are William Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Maya Angelou, Michael Jackson, Robert Kelly, and Terius Nash.
