She reeked of sweat, cigarettes and alcohol. Rolling over in bed she saw feet, crusty ashy feet. Caught off guard for a moment she pulled back the sheet a bit more to reveal a more than chubby one-night stand. “Oh hell no! You gots to go!” She began shaking Fats gently. He didn’t move. Denise began pulling back all the covers to her horror. Fats was naked except for a leather and elastic thong that didn’t quite fit. Denise began to speak and with that Taylor broke free and slapped Denise across her face. “Shut up! Just shut the hell up!” she screamed. Denise grabbed her face and bent forward as she mumbled something inaudible. “Shut up!” Taylor screamed again as she punched Denise on the back of her head. Denise knelt from the blows. A few people let out some cheers as Taylor swung at Denise once more, missing her by a hair. Austin restrained Taylor as people looked on. Taylor was showing a fierceness no one knew existed inside her quiet personality. Taylor grabbed Denise by the hair and screamed at her as Austin tried to get her to let go. Denise moaned in agony from the hair pulling. Taylor shook her by the hair and she continued yelling. Denise wanted no part of her. They nearly had to wrestle Taylor to the ground to separate her from Denise.

About the Book
Upon graduation, poet Taylor Maxwell was determined to build a business. After opening a small cafe and hiring a few friends she finds her life in turmoil. she is forced to overcome her fears and confront those she trusted.
About the Author
Yonda Morrison Fletcher has been writing poetry since high school. She is the author of five poetry books and has won a few poetry awards. Stolen Words is Frank Fletcher Jr.'s first book. Most of my writing consisted of emails, Tweets and Facebook messages. Taylor, Denise and friends caused many sleepless nights with all their chatter inside our heads. We enjoyed the time spent with them as they allowed us to peek into their lives.
