“Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and die.” That’s pretty much mercenary code. When you hunt supernatural beasties for a living you’ve got to expect a hospital bed every now and then. But the scars you carry can come back to haunt you years later, and my past doesn’t want to leave me alone.

Phoebe Nix is a young mercenary, notorious under the name The Raven, but when a surprise job forces her into old acquaintances life becomes even more difficult.

About the Author

L. G. Hale is a young author from the east of England, who started writing at the age of eleven. She has an A Level in English Literature, and would have studied it at university had she not gone on to study Animation at the Arts University College Bournemouth, where she is currently living.
