Shayna’s mom has a big problem. She does not like the pigs on the farm. There is a good reason why she does not like them and it involves mud! The pesky pigs just love the mud created by the sprinkler in the gardens! They head that to that cool, wet mud every chance they get! Join Shayna and Woofus, her dog, as they take on the huge job of guarding the garden. They watch for the pigs to come and then the chase is on! Then one day, Shayna’s mom has an idea! About the Author

Dovie G. Therriault-Bruder grew up on a farm near Pincher Creek, in the southern part of Alberta, Canada. She was raised ten miles from town by her parents, along with six brothers and two sisters and several foster children. She has always wanted to write about her lifetime experiences and has chosen Children’s Literature as her first venue. She loves to share her memories of good fun growing up on the farm with others. This series entitled ‘Life on the Farm’ is a collection of family and friend memories which have been delightfully written and colorfully illustrated just for the small children in your life. Dovie’s experience tells her that there is no better bedtime story than one that is short and a lot of fun!
