About the Book
Many people don’t believe in God, his son Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. I know the Lord is real because he has a presence. Whenever I have needed him, he has always been there. Whenever I thought it was the end, he said it was just the beginning. When I thought I was alone, he assured me I wasn’t. When I’ve been knocked down, he extended his hand, told me to get back up, and try again. Lord, I thank you for changing my life. Even though I still have a long road to travel on my spiritual journey, I know you will be there every step of the way (like you have always been). This book is based upon the story of my life. I’ve truly had my share of experiences, and this book will reveal a lot of them. My goal in writing this book is to give people hope to follow their dreams, rise above other people’s expectations (or non-expectations), and change is possible. I sincerely hope you will learn or take something positive with you from my experiences. Enjoy the book!
About the Author
My name is Princess Moss, however I go by the name Nina Sky. “Life After the L Word” means a great deal to me because it is discussing my life. I am being very transparent in this book, and my sincere purpose for disclosing my past is with the hope that it will touch, or help someone’s life. Many people like to build a smoke screen over the things that they have done, blame others, or deny the part they’ve played in how their life turned out. I take full responsibility for my life, and I realize that I had to go through certain things to be who I am today. Life has taught me that the Lord is in control, and he is always on time. When you think that he’s not there, he is. When you think that your prayer isn’t being heard, it is. The Lord just wants you to stand on his word, and know that he is Lord. He is the ruler of all things, and he loves his children. He just wants you to abide in him. No the road will not be easy but the journey is well worth it.
