About the Author
Shila Rahman grew up in an environment where she used to read and listen to traditional and epic stories from family members. Her father was a school teacher and he inspired her to go into the teaching profession. She found teaching the younger children (i.e. primary school children) very rewarding. She always took great care in choosing good quality story books to share with the children. She also realized that stories should make a lasting impression in the children’s mind. With this in mind, when she retired from the teaching profession, she began to think that she needed to write short stories for the younger children. Which not only, should be entertaining and uplifting, but it should also leave something behind to reflect on. “Hope the children will enjoy reading these stories. “ ~Shila Rahman
