About the Author
Jonathan M. Purver has written over a dozen books, and his stories have appeared in numerous literary journals and newspapers. He was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in New York City and Hollywood, California, and is a graduate of UCLA and UCLA Law School. He has practiced criminal and constitutional law and written for several major publishing companies. His books Giraffe and Other Short Stories (2009) and Apple River: Short Stories (2012) are available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble as well as in book stores. His teleplay Night Train was produced for Los Angeles regional television, and his radio adaptation of the Broadway play Dark of the Moon (by Richardson and Berney) was produced for Public Radio. Jonathan, his wife Jeannie and their black cat, divide their time between South Lake Tahoe, California and the San Francisco Bay Area.
