About the Book

This basic math fundamentals workbook relies on the student to have grasped the multiplication tables, from one to ten. Without this ability to instantly know the answers, the advantages are outweighed by this inability to seek the correct answer given certain situations. My rigorous addition, subtraction, multiplication and division approach, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents examples, will help the learner become a better player in the field of math. These short fundamental lessons will bridge the gap that was lost somewhere in the educational process years ago.

About the Author

I taught mathematics for over 30 years in junior & senior high school and the state of Delaware's Community College system. Earning a MED in math education at the University of Delaware, I proceded to rewrite several math courses in a high school curriculum, integrating an algebra 2 and trigonometry curriculum into a single subject and also helped rewrite a plane geometry program into 6 week sessions to bridge the gap in understanding proofs. Much of that has changed now with the emphasis on problem solving mathematics. Writing books began as an adventure in translating my classroom experiences into a book format.
