Ellen Sowards was raised in rural West Virginia. She attended Marshall University where she received her bachelor's and master's degrees in speech pathology. She has 33 years experience as a speech pathologist in the Lincoln County School System. Ellen enjoys reading, walking, and crocheting. She is happily married and the mother of two sons. Ellen still lives in a rural area of West Virginia with her family and an annoying frog.
