About the Author

Quote of the day: He who draws noble delights from sentiments of poetry is a true poet, though he has never written a line in all his life.--George Sands Toggle Poem Category View © 2002-2011. Full of fears and anxieties of how to survive and live happily ever after, she found the Bible was her inspiration of hope that brought her to God and a life without the chains of poverty. In her walk with God she discovered the truth that set her free from the fear of thinking she had to please people. The knowledge that one must first please God and let everyone else get in line has given her the liberty to find her purpose in life. After moving to Indiana in 2000 she re-discovered her love for poetry and began a dedicated work to place on paper her thoughts and emotions of her journey. Having a passion for biographies and seeing how others cope with the difficult days in their lives; she found the answer for her was through writing and sharing with others her life experiences. The wife of one husband and mother of five children, grandmother to three has given her the insight and emotional support she needs in order to sit and write and ignore the dust bunnies that continue to plague her dwelling. After all one must learn to laugh along the way or why bother with the trip? Sharleen dwells on five acres in southern Indiana amongst some very friendly trees with husband Norman of over fifty plus years.
