Love Never Really Perishes

Then, it came quite unexpectedly. Something totally strange and unprecedented hit her in the head. It was hardly painful; hardly a physical thing, but for as long as it lasted, she seemed to lose complete awareness of herself; of her being. She recovered quickly, and completely, but after a short while, it happened again. Then, again and again. Then the strange phenomenon started assuming a different dimension. Soon, she started feeling as if a foreign entity was forcefully taking possession of her body. This was accompanied, simultaneously by a fear she had never known before, as if it was the premonition of something terrible about to happen to her. She tried to resist, and within a short while, it became even clearer to her that it was not merely a thought or imagination. Something or someone she could not see was operating seriously, as if trying to take possession of her being. She became restless, her heart racing faster than she had known. The wild thought rushed into her mind to call Anthony, but strangely, she did not seem to possess the will to do so. The intangible thing she was now convinced was fighting her seemed to have usurped the will to do so.
