About the Book
This story is about a little girl, Jadeyn, who falls asleep and dreams about a stick family. Throughout the dream she plays games with the stick family and when disater almost strikes them she must try and come to their rescue. Do you think she will in time?
About the Author
Richard was born in Sacramento, California. As a child, he lived in many small logging towns. Before his 18th birthday, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp, where he spent the next four years, which included sixteen months of active duty in Viet Nam where he fought in 3 major battles. He is now retired from over 30 years of law enforcement. While in law enforcement he was awarded Officer of the Year for introducing the "Teddy Bear Program," for traumatized children. This was later also picked up by other law enforcement agencies. Richard took classes at Solano Community College in Creative Writing and completed coursework through The Literary institute of Children's Writing. Richard also has had five poems published through Sparrowgrass Publisher. Besides his poems, he has had 4 other children's books published: Christopher and The Box In The Closet, Rupert and That Old Yellow Cat, Four Eyes are better than two, Anytime and The Red Wagon. Richard and wife, Beverly of 43 years live in Brookings, Oregon. They have 2 children, Tonya and Richard and two grand daughters, Ashley Elise and Megan. His hobbies, besides writing, are fishing and making unique birdhouses.
