Emerald and Katrina started pulling everything from the refrigerator and unloading boxes to begin organizing a repass for what was sure to be over a hundred guests. As Emerald moved from kitchen to dining room carefully placing stacks of plates, cups, and cutlery, her eyes began to water. Emerald smiled through her tears thinking of the last time they had all gone out together. Markus and the guys had been with them too. Everyone looked so happy, and had so much fun you’d hardly know there were problems between them at all. Somehow, things had gone down hill so fast. She couldn’t even determine how bad had gone to worse without any of them really noticing a major change had occurred among them. As unreal as the last six months seemed, Emerald had to face the reality that the lives of she and her friends had changed forever. Emerald’s hands began to shake violently as, for the first time she broke down in uncontrollable, heart-wrenching sobs and sank to the floor. She couldn’t believe the grief and anguish that suddenly overwhelmed her so much so that she could hardly breathe. Katrina heard Emerald and rushed into the dining room, to find her balled up into a knot on the floor. She dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms around Emerald. The two cried for what seemed to be seconds, but was actually almost twenty minutes. Both had allowed silent tears to escape them at the funeral, but neither had shown their full range of emotion until now.

About the Book
Let’s Talk About It follows the lives and events of a group of girlfriends that, over the years, have lost the trust of one another through a series of miscommunications, misunderstandings, and selfish acts. As the ladies move through their lives, they find themselves relying on the wrong people to replace the trust they had in long-term friends. As the story unfolds, the main characters find themselves on opposite ends of the globe, experiencing painful events that help them realize how much they need one another.
About the Author
Yvonne McBeth started a career as a technical writer over twenty years ago. As she progressed in her career, she moved away from technical writing but began keeping a personal journal. As she noticed her personal journasl becoming to evolve into lengthy stories, she became inspired to write her first book. Let's Talk About It is the first book to be released by the new up and coming author. Yvonne is currently in the process of writing two additional books to be released in 2012 and 2013. Currently, Yvonne resides in the District of Columbia Metropolitan Area. With a daughter in college, Yvonne’s focus is continued professional and personal growth. As an independent consultant, she takes on an increasing level of professional challenges supporting customers throughout the United States. Her professionalism and level of committment allows her to continue to achieve success as a professional consultant. Her goal is to transition that success to include becoming a well-known author.
