The Crowning Winner Inside of Me

I am not suggesting to you all of my problems have disappeared; that I don’t ever worry about a bill or run short of money or that life is any easier being a single mother. In fact, it has gotten harder. For the past three years I have been managing my life with devastating news. My mother is living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Each day I see how much the disease deteriorates her mind. It is so hard because I am loosing my mother. I am faced with her mortality…as well as mine. And honestly, it is tough. I have my days of complete sadness. Her sickness also complicates my life to a certain degree because I no longer have her emotional or physical support. And I have the added responsibility of taking care of things for her that she can no longer take care of herself…but I am not complaining because the point I am trying to make for you is living your life with success does not make your life devoid of any more difficulties or devoid of ever feeling sadness again. What I am expressing to you is that you can manage disappointments or the challenges life brings to you through success…it sustains me through both the good and hard times…and I desire that for your life, too!
