God’s grace is so awesome. I wrote this book for those who profess to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and I trust in Him for their salvation. Those who have not come to know Him as their only savior this book is for you. I believe you will find that there is a God who reveals Himself to the undeserving man. Our minds cannot comprehend how He could reveal some things that you will find in this book. I cannot make you believe in me, but trust that the Holy Spirit is real. I hope and pray that you too will realize the might of God’s love and power. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is our God and savior Jesus Christ. I hope and pray that the Holy Spirit opens your eyes, ears, and hearts. It will lead you unto His truths; His ways are not ours. My experiences and life’s journey is only one of many. I hope you will be blessed as you read this book, and know that you can make it on broken pieces of your ship. Yes, there is hope, strength, and comfort in our Lord Jesus Christ. While I was in prayer meeting, I heard someone asking for me. I went to the door and there stood two police officers. They asked me very kindly to walk home with them. We walked and we made small talk. They did not make too much of a conversation but I sensed something was wrong. Just before they had come to the church, I stood and asked if my pastor would mind if we just prayed for our children. We did. You see, God knew what was going on. We walked to the house and I opened the door. When I went in one of the men looked at the other and said that he felt bad in his stomach and wished for the other man to tell me. He then turned and went outside. The other man asked me if I had a son name Al. I responded with a yes and asked him if everything was alright. I said those words as if Al were in trouble. Little did I know I would not have to worry anymore; it was all over. He had answered his destiny. The officer said, "Ma'am, he is dead."At first it did not hit me. I was dumbstruck. My mind went completely blank. I looked up at this man standing in front of me, telling me that my son was dead. All the clouds had rolled back and covered the sun. I saw the ugly, awful side of reality then. My heart was broken into a million pieces. I never thought I could have made it through that night. My experience was as if I was giving birth to this boy that very night. I felt the same pain in his death that I had when I brought him into the world. The officer told me the story about a shootout with the police. Only God knew what took place. Eternity will tell. When every man gives an account for the things done in their lives, there will be plenty of questions that we will never get answered until we stand in front of the judge. My son's friends came away without a scratch. The same friends he could not live without, he had to do without. We laid him to rest but our hearts were not at rest. He left us very sad and heartbroken. His death was untimely and unnecessary. Little did I know it was a signal from God. I had given my life to Jesus and my desire was to live for Him; to serve Him. However, my family played a very important part in my life. Sometime's your children's behavior can hinder you from your walk with the Lord. You see, God cannot bless any house as long as his children are doing wrong. We must be righteous. In God's sight he does not punish us for someone else's sin because he is just. Our home was torn by sorrow and hurt. We could not see the reason for all that had happened but we had to live with it. The other children were left with many questions to be answered. Everything was silent. His death was without question or justification. There are answers out there that only God knows and we must live with the agony of not knowing what happened to our dearly loved. You can call it what you may, but in the hands of God who knows all things and sees all things, my son's life was taken away in the name of the law. They called it a justifiable homicide but God calls it murder. We live in a world that is filled with hatred. Life does not mean anything to people anymore. We can shoot people and kill them and get away with it because we have other people that say it is alright to do, in order to protect ourselves. One day we will meet with the judge of all mankind, who is no respecter of persons. Then we will give an account to him. The very one who says, "Thou shall not kill."

About the Author
Pastor Cynthia Fogle was born February 24, 1941, on the island of St. Eustatius, Dutch Ned Antilles. Pastor Fogle was called by God early in life on the Island of St. Maarten in 1958. She began traveling to the United States in 1969 where she settled in Queens, New York with her family. Beginning in 1975 she traveled to many countries preaching and teaching the gospel. She moved to Killeen Texas in 1983 and ministered in many local churches. Pastor Fogle has planted many churches from Aruba to New York to Texas. She is the founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Love Church Mission of Hope and Abundant Love Out-Reach ministries. Pastor Fogle has been an anointed motivator for spiritual leadership for more than 40 years. She provides ministry at women conferences, prayer breakfast, family seminars and marriage seminars. Her ministry has brought healing, deliverance, and restoration through the body of Christ. Pastor Fogle’s mission is to support women in the ministry. Her burden is to encourage women to fulfill their calling in the Lord Jesus Christ. She meets with hurting people throughout Central Texas and the world. Her goal is to exalt the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
