About the Author

EA Tischler is the Founder and Director of Instruction of the New Horizons Golf Approach. He grew up in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. He attended U.C. San Diego where he was the golf team captain. In 1989 he turned professional, and has been playing and coaching ever since. In 1992 he was injured and stopped play for four years. In 1994 he moved to Hawaii where he became known as the “Pro’s-Pro.” In 2000 Ed was voted as one of Hawaii’s top teachers in the August issue of Golf Digest Magazine. As a player he has compiled 8 hole-in-ones, 2 double-eagles and played to +4.5 handicap. As a professional coach he has written 18 golf instructional books, invented and patented a variety of training aids and is the founder of the New Horizons Golf Approach.
