About the Author
I am a WWII Veteran. Flew as a radio operator-gunner with the USAF 8th Air Force in the European Theater. Was shot down after several missions on a B-24 and became a prisoner-of- war. Basically the story about my life from my enlistment to my return home. I had dwelt briefly on my service during WWII in my previous book "Growing Up and Then Some", and my children expressed a desire to know more about my service, hence this memoir. I presently reside in Costa Mesa, California where physical limitations keep me pretty much at home.
