“Poison is starting to kick in.” Brie opened her eyes weakly and saw that Johnny was no longer beside her. He was at a stone in front of her. It was getting dark, and Key, Munch, and Sandy were standing over her. “Poison?” Brie realized it must be true, she was hot; her insides felt like fire, her sight was fuzzy, and she was dying of thirst. “Why did you poison them?” Munch fussed. “Because,” Sandy started, “If they die, we can get more for the return of their bodies.” Key sighed and they all turned around when Johnny groaned. “Well, you was wrong, he’s still alive.” Key turned back to Brie and said, “What do you mean if they die?” “Well, they could die before anybody gets up here or they could live. Come on, let us go and check out everything.” Sandy ran off and Key and Munch ran off after her.

About the Book
Brie Milo had a rough life growing up, but finally is looking towards the bright future once she and her best friend, Jenny Thomas leave their home state of Alabama and move to Montana. Once there, they get settled, and later on, they meet two new friends, Cody Stabler and Danny Jones. The four become best of friends and Cody surprises Brie, who loves to travel, with a trip to a cabin near their home, up in the mountains, only to be shut down a little while Brie's first love, Johnny moves in next door and she invites him and his new girlfriend to come along. But little do they know that somebody else was coming with them. Hell was coming with them to the mountain. And with it, it was bring death, revenge, sorrow, old enemies, and old memories to open the old wounds. Can Brie and Johnny find it in their hearts to stay strong and alive while Cody and the others desperastely searches for them and the secret that tore Johnny and Brie's families apart?
About the Author
Writing is my passion. I have been writing ever since I was three years old. I wrote this book from a set of teenagers eyes, knowing that these incidents occur everyday worldwide. I believe that anyone can tell a story, but it takes a special person to put it into a book. It takes real life experiences and inspiration to make a masterpiece. Everyone goes through something hard in their lives, but they can't be stuck in the past forever. The future is always open and waiting for you to step forward. I live in Alabama with my parents, and younger brother. Three dogs populate my yard. Inspiration is what keeps me going. Writing, studying about different cultures, swimming, music, and animals are my life.
