BLUE MONDAY
Thinking of the mistakes i made in my Life
It really amazes me how I made it through
I have to pray for understanding because most of the time I dont know what to do
There is a conspiracy in the war inside of me
thats why i fight for freedom and spiritual equality
i wont let my flesh see no sign of victory
so i surpress my flesh and let my spirit take control
and pray with my soul and wait for the calvary
I always tried to get my life together
but to some people I just wasnt enough
so it seems my whole life been in stormy weather
and i cant understand why when i try so hard it still be so rough
I know patience is a virtue but my patience is getting thin
Most of the time i cant eat or sleep from to much worrying
So i sit and i think about where my life is heading
and even manage to take a minute to hear the gossipers spreading
stories about my lifes route
and I know they are confused why i do what i do and they cant figure it out

From the depths of my Soul i give you a portion of me
so you can feel what i feel and see what i see
but not with your eyes for i see with my eyes closed
every morning GOD awakes me with new mercies
and I thank HIM, I start instantly humbling my flesh
because the flesh is never at ease when going through test
surely not of GOD but from the enemy
for he comes in many faces even through those who are friends of me.....
About the Author
My name is Elgin A Pierre. I was born in New Orleans, La. In the early years of my life in lived in Boutte, La. Then my family moved to Marerro, La for some of my teenage years. Our final move was to Luling, La , which is my current residence now. I have been writing poetry for about 15 years. Its always been my passion. I believe GOD knows all. I say that because i could remember in the 9th grade at John Ehret High School in Marerro, La, my mother made me take typing, I dont remember if i seen any other guys in that class!! i was the only guy to my knowledge. I think back then it was good thing she made me take take that class because its used to do what i do for a passion now!! Thank you MOM. Im writing this book and many more to come to release the gift that i believe GOD has bestowed upon me for every one to read. Some times we cant explain things in life. I have a gift from GOD. That is why i'm qualified to write this book and more to come for GOD is my qualifier!
