Fear? I am hearing the sound of my heart, I am feeling it beat. Should I at least think of this beat? For if I think too long it will cease. With a roar of thunder, I sit and wonder, Why am I here? My eyes start to tear, But still I feel no fear. I wish I weren’t here. Still as the Nile And rushing with the Hudson. I am the pain of the sound of my heart, Feel it beat Boom, boom, Boom, boom. I served my purpose of life, I feel no need to fear my heart

About the Book
Writing has always been my passion. Growing up in the Bronx you had to have a release from all the negativity. I never thought I would write a book, let alone get it published to the WORLD. As you go through page by page, you will see what I saw and experienced. Maybe you can relate to each word written. I wrote from my heart however, realizing I am not the only one who has challenges. So as you read these poems know that I am you and we experience similar obstacles. Never be afraid to express yourself.
About the Author
Ever since I was a little girl I would write. It was a gift I had early on. It was an easy escape. I grew up in the Bronx, the birth of hip hop so I guess you could say rhyming came easy.
