Every legend has a storyteller, a being who passes the tale and its message along to the masses; but there is a problem that exists within this process. The truth of the report is always handicapped by its reporter. This is because human beings, by nature, are liars. I say by nature, because it’s not something they always do by choice or with ill intent. A person receives a message, reads a story, but takes from it only what his mortal eyes allow him to see. The result is that the messenger inadvertently corrupts the message, the purity of the idea itself. For this reason, lying cannot always be seen as a flaw in character, but rather, as a flaw in the human condition; for the greatest lies are often told while the creatures of mankind are sincerely attempting to speak the truth. I cannot allow this story to be left to the innocent corruptions of human beings. That is why, though I have never spoken this way before, I must break my silence now. This story is far too important to be presented to the world by a mortal. So, along with a few others, I shall be the messenger of Love, for indeed, I am the closest to it. This is a chronicle about Love. To focus on the Love story alone would be missing the point. At the very moment when you think you are in the dullest of circumstances, I will shine my light and share my vision. Converge upon the message; close your eyes, and you will see.

About the Book
The greatest fear known to man is not the fear of receiving something dreadful, but of losing something beautiful. The Lost Sunset is not just a Love story, it’s a story about Love, told by three unlikely narrators, all of which must be discovered by the reader. The book tells the story of a man named James and a girl named Destiny, using them both as tools to illustrate the philosophies of Love and life. When James and Destiny meet, it seems as though both will finally find what they had each been looking for; but because of James’s past, and Destiny’s present, circumstance becomes very circumstantial. Tragedy will also befriend James, changing his life forever. It's only through his interaction with a very mysterious girl that James is able to break out of his confused state. It is only with her, that we will see if James is able to let go of the past, accept the present, and build his future. The only question is whether or not any part of that will include Destiny.
About the Author
A light that continues to brighten, F. G. Mansour is a young poet and philosopher whose writing career began at the age of sixteen. Being shy and a reluctant reader, his life changed with the opening of one book, which set the course of the journey that has allowed you to open this book. Raised in Fountain Valley, California, Mansour is the youngest of two children and a devoted family man. At the age of eighteen, he finished writing his first book, an arrangement of original poetry about living an inspired life. He is currently a student at UC Berkeley and plans to attend law school soon. With the goal of writing prose that inspires others, F. G. Mansour’s original work will be spinning the hearts of a whole new generation to live a whole new life.
