Sometimes I want to stand outside Look up toward the rain Let the water run down my face Creating a mask to which I can hide my pain But the rain never falls fast enough To keep up with my tears Of all the reoccurring heartache That I've been holding back for all those years Situation after situation hits me Like drop after drop The difference is the water runs down But the situation never seems to stop With so much in my life to do With so little time to do it Why must I keep going back through things? If I have already been through it I think about the saying How two wrongs don't make a right? But to do onto others not as you want them But as they do onto you is a thought I must keep out of my sight At times my anger gets the best of me That side I rather for you not to see Because that is when I become another person Not the man that I've grown to be

Everything I wrote is exactly how I feel So give me a minute while I dedicate this to my grandmother, Who's been there, threw all my ordeals. But first and foremost I would like to thank god For allowing my dreams to be fulfilled And sending me a loving grandmother Who always taught me to keep it real From the very first poem I wrote to the last one in this book I gave you everything I had, no matter how long it took So if you're reading this right now I'm thankful that you decided to take a look From the first page to the last I hope you enjoy the contents of this book Thank you for reading about my life and the interventions that I took And I hope that I've inspired you from learning About things that are normally overlooked.
