Right next to Santa was a large Christmas tree
The bottom was filled with presents as far as the the eye can see
Santa said,"Hi little girl," Kayla heard his loud merry hail
She saw something under the tree,it was a brown furry tail
Kayla thought it was a cat and waited for a purr
If it was'nt a cat,what could it be with all that fur
It was'nt a cat or a dog. Too small to be a donkey

About the Book
Christmas season is finally here! Kayla couldn't wait to see Santa Claus and tell him the toys she wanted for Christmas. She has been a good little girl all year long. She could have never imangined she would soon meet the greatest Santa helper of them all. Melo the Christmas Monkey!
About the Author
K.E. Williamson is a first time author from Cleveland,Ohio.After graduating from high school,he enlisted in the U.S. Airforce seving his country for four years.He recieved an honorable discharge in 1988. He soon enrolled into college with a goal to become a Physician Assistant. He accomplished his goal graduating in 1996.He currently works as a P.A. in Texas. K.E. met Geri,the love of his life in 1995. They married in 1997 His family includes his stepdaugther Krystal and daugther Kayla. Kayla was the inspiration of the book. K.E. came up with the idea of the Christmas Monkey in 2006 when Kayla was seven years old. Geri told K.E. he should share his idea to all children in the form of a book. The book finally came to life in 2010. He was fortunate to have his childhood friend Sterling lend his artistist skills for the book.
