Evcauted to the country with her brother Peter and her sister Elizabeth, Anna-Leigh is having a hard time, especially now that her mum is taken away to a concentration camp. And to be more informative, its the exact one her father was taken to. So she sets on a journey to rescue her parents and she is taking her brother and sister with her, not to mention her crush *The Charming Luke* This story is about a girl in World War 2 who is retelling the story of rescuing her parents. She is retells it in the most precious thing to her, her diary. In memory of one of my favourite heroines, Anne Frank. This is a story you do not want to miss, a journey that will overthrow you. And your coming on the journey too!!!

About the Author

Hey my name is Bukky Olaide and I just want to tell all my readers a few things about the book and more stuff you guys need to know. Writing this book was amazing; though I won’t lie to you it was a challenge. I could not have done it without support from my family, friends, school and one very special teacher- Miss Le`mion (love you guys loads.) I loved making up the characters every step of the way. I did used my best friend’s name is this story- Nazmyie. And that’s because she made me who I am. A writer! P.S. I did use my name too, but I spelt it like Bookie. I used to loath writing; I was more of a science person. Then one day my best friend, Nazmyie said “give it a go”, so I did. I picked up the pen and wrote and I felt like was in a different world. I loved it!!! The only thing I would never love is MATHS! I HATE IT! TAKE NOTICE TEACHERS! Anyone can become a writer. All you need is imagination and a free spirit. So go on there’s a whole world out there, go explore it. Umm, one more thing! If you see this type of font like this “hi” it means I am telling another setting that is happing elsewhere is the story.
