Once upon a time, there was a family about to have Christmas dinner. The youngest child had a fairytale book with him. Looking at the characters, he wished they were also here in New York City for the holidays..........
Harold responded, "They have come to celebrate the Holidays Mom. The guests all looked at one another. “They must be celebrating me! No, it's me! No, it's me!” they began to quarrel.
“No! It's Christmas!” the boy exclaimed. “People of the Jewish faith celebrate Hanukah. It was a miraculous festival of lights that lasted for nine days. Some African Americans celebrate Kwanza for seven days, based on seven important principles to live by. Christians, celebrate Christmas, the birth of a Jewish man named Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The holiday is a time when people shop till they drop buying gifts for each other.”
“Oh dear” gasped and interrupted the Queen. Instantly the Knight had his sword drawn and pointed at Harold. “Would you like me to thrust him through for his rubbish speaking, My lady?”

About the Author
"Where there's a will....., there's a talent, and over the years, there's a way to accomplish great things." De'borah Washington has accomplished great things because she pinned these words in one of her notebooks in the ninth grade as her life model: "I believe that my quest for knowledge is because there is confidence in knowing." She has spent fifteen years in the Fashion District of New York City and then switched to education. Ms. Washington taught Fashion in a High School in Brooklyn. She hold degrees: AAS in Fashion, BS in Organizational Management, MS in Public School Education from LIU, MS in Christian Education producing thesis titled "The Relevance of Christian Education in Today's society is Because Morals, Values, and a Person's Life Worth Have Changed" and is currently working on her PHD in Christian Counseling. She is a Christian woman of faith and praise. She has written a song book, poems, a poem on the wild life of Brazil, and other stories. Much of these writings have come forth while teaching in the elementary public school system of New York.
