About the Book

One day I was walking through an airport and started looking at some of the other businesspeople as we all scurried along like trapped rats in a sinking ship. I took note of one guy in particular, hunched over and scuffling along looking like the energizer bunny about ready to run out of battery life. His thin gray hair and protruding belly made him look 60 but I knew he was probably only 35 years old. As a businessman and a part time personal trainer, I said to myself “I want to help this guy.” I knew I could change his life with just some simple direction in the gym and with his nutrition. I wanted to help him and many more like him (or her) and right then, I knew it would be possible. This book is for people who travel for business and want (against all odds) to try and stay in good health. The rigors of travel don’t make it easy to do. In fact, even most people that only have to commute back home every night have a hard time with the discipline of good health. Thus, the creation of the foundation for this book-to help the traveling businessperson.

About the Author

Author Tad Holtsinger is an executive in the wine business for the last 28 years and travels every week across twenty plus states. His first passion is his wife and career but his second is fitness. After quitting team sports of flag football and basketball he began weightlifting at age forty. The competitive fire that he aquired in those sports was rekindled and after ten years of regular lifting he decided to achieve a personal trainer certification from the International Sports and Science Association. His goal of this book was to share his knowledge and success at personal fitness endured under stressful and time constrained work schedules in order to help others. He currently resides in Jacksonville Florida with his wife, Debbie, their two Labrador retreivers and works out religiously on the road and with his training partners Bob and Mark when in town
