About the Book
A Spitfire and a Messerschmitt are engaged in mortal combat in the skies over Buckingham Palace ...but the year is 1990, and only one of them is armed... From the Battle of Britain, through a ruined Berlin and the ranches of Montana, The Eagle Will Fly is a story of vengeance, madness, and a final, fiery, life-or-death finale.
About the Author
Born in Kissing Cross, in Norfolk, Battle of Britain enthusiast and avid collector of Western novel Ernest "Dick" Barber has had a varied working life, enjoying occupations as diverse as farm work and the commercial car trade, fitting in owning his own fish and chip shop, before "ending up" as he puts it as a taxi driver. At 77, he is now retired, and still lives in Norfolk (Norwich.) He is proud to say that his Vauxhall Cavalier has 386,000 miles on the clock - evidently, like Mr Barber himself, it was made to last! The Eagle Will Fly is Mr Barber's first novel.
