About the Book

Part one of the book is set in London in the early 1980’s, and introduces the central character of the story, Sir James Fox, a behind –the- scenes diplomat and man in charge of a new department of climatology. We also meet his friends, doctors Milton Johns and Robert Sinclair,- who in turn are introduced to Roger graves, a physicist working on suspended animation project for NASA. Sir James had his office in the Palace of Westminster where he conducts all his formal business affairs, but socially he and his friends meet at his place of residence,- “ The Gentleman’s Club”, a short stroll from the Thames embankment,- and it is here that the events of the story unfold.
