Philosophy does not justify the existence of the universe or the life therein. It is merely the defining relationship of the individual and the knowable reality that life encounters. There is no rule that a person’s philosophy has to be all-inclusive or consider aspects that are not relevant to the person’s life. To say, “I am.”, one does not require something else to be or not to be. “I am.” is a complete expression by itself. The value of a person’s life is an absolute that is defined by the person’s choice - to establish a philosophy based on a studied knowledge of reality or an imaginary speculative hypothesis.
