So much to Live For
We have so much to live for.
We have so many things to do.
There are so many places to go.
There are so many people to see.
Life has so many activities to be involved in; and there are many people to help.
Everyone alive is living for someone else, or others.
To give, to share, to teach, to direct, care and prepare. We can make new things, and change old people to new people. We can heal; set the giver-uppers free and deliver righteousness to the acceptors. Love and let others love. Clean up and be clean. Laugh and be happy. Live.
I Have a Reason to Be Here
I was chosen from the beginning. An end, I don’t know, yet. Purposes, I have many. A mistake I am not. Work, I will do and have done.
Don’t make me feel sad, because I am not like you.
Don’t laugh at me, because I don’t look like you.
Don’t curse me, because I don’t use the same language you use.
Don’t hate me, because I don’t gossip or cause discord.
Don’t try to confuse me, because you are confused.
Don’t be jealous of me, because you used your gifts, un-righteously.
Don’t lie on me, because I’m not the way you want me to be.
Instead, I’ll forgive and love you still, because I have a reason t be here.
God, Are you Listening?
When I pray about the things that I am going through
When I pray for my life and family’s life
When I give advice to others, who need my input/help,
When I cry secretly or hold my pain, when I moan,
When I am trying not to complain when someone tries to steal my joy and leave me sad
When I cry out in despair and seek help
When things around me scrambles up
When I am being snared to fall
When I cant reach no one else at all
When some don’t have time to hear
When I cant go anywhere else and have to kneel
Then God Are you listening and do you hear?

About the Author
Carla Bruce is a facetious multifarious individual, who manages a multiplicity of life presenting circumstances, and opportunities. In addition to life involving experiences, she studied Psychology, Nursing, Medical Laboratory at La. Tech Univ., Northeast La. Univ. (now called U.L.M.), and Delta Vo-Tech College; Management, Travel and Tourism at Watterson College of Pasadena, Calif.; and Culinary Pastry at Collin C. C. College of Frisco, Tx.. She has participated, and still does, in many Oratorical Speech and Debate forums, Motivational Speaking, Spoken Word performances, Lectures and Advise Counsels. Naming a few, she’s a licensed Evangelist, ordained by Pastor H. Jones, of San Bernadino, Calif.; a 2004 graduate of God’s Leading Ladies, of The Potter’s House of Dallas, Tx., and presently- soon to obtain Ministry Licensing from P.H.S.O.M..
Carla Bruce is a participating member of many departments and help groups; In her church, as well as, in other churches; instate and out-of state. She is involved in evangelistic outreach, missions, Women Ministry, T.O.R.I., B.B.B.S., downtown homeless, Intercessory Prayer Group, etc…She held the Presidency of The Helping Hands Committee (1994-2003), of Unity COGIC.
