About the Author
Chetwynd has been working in the adult learning sector since 1998. When newly qualified he taught an ‘ESOL’(English for Speakers of Other Languages) class where he soon realised that phonics was an excellent aid in learning to speak, read and write the English language.
Since he gained his ‘Certificate of Education’ he taught in the ‘supported learning’ sector before returning to ‘ESOL’ and teaching learners with varying degrees of dyslexia.
He is now an ESOL subject specialist and at present teaches ‘ESOL’, literacy and numeracy in Derbyshire.
