About the Author
Mrs. Adams was born and raised in Roswell, NM, the same year as the aliens are alleged to have landed in Roswell (1947). She is the mother of four biological children and one child she adopted out of the foster care system. She has eleven wonderful and talented grandchildren who are the light of her life and one very supportive and loving husband. She worked with abused and neglected children as a Social Worker for 18 plus years and is currently retired and works part time with a treatment foster care agency. During her time as a Social Worker it amazed her how children who had been severely abused and neglected enjoyed most things magical so it has been in the back of her mind for years to write a children’s book but never knew exactly what to write about until after her daughter started doing fantasy photography. She saw how the children (and adults) enjoyed being fairies/trolls and going into the community to share their magical experiences with younger children and senior citizens. One day on her way home from her daughter’s home in Cloudcroft, NM, the words, “In a tiny world there was a tiny town where tiny fairies danced all around” popped into her head and she could not stop thinking of those words. Shortly after arriving home other rhymes began to come to mind so she began to write them down and that is how “A Tiny Wish Granted” was conceived.
