The author takes a close in-depth look at: When and why the unions started to fall apart (divorce and generational curses), the covenant of marriage (covenant marriage contracts/laws and the biblical marriage covenant), communication (barriers, styles and the metamorphosis/transformation process), the effect of stepfamilies and step-parenting on a marital relationship (remarriages, myths, etc.) and the African American woman and marriage. Most notably and important is that this book provides biblical scripture references that supersede what everyone is saying, teaching, and predicting – For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, and plans to give you hope and a future – Jeremiah 29:11.
