About the Author

Sometimes I feel like Hemingway, typewriter flailing, curtains in the open windows softly blowing on a spring day. I was born and raised in South Dakota. As I was growing up, I so loved my parents reading books to me and I love to read sci-fi, fiction, and autobiographies to this day. I'm writing about me and my first book at the age of 61.

My kid brother, Johnny, lives in South Dakota. Johnny and I both have disabilities and we are getting Social Security.

I am musically inclined and studied classical music, and then the drums came along. Throughout the years, I've had many bands, and throughout high school and one year of college, in South Dakota, I played with other musicians. I completed my first C.D., "If I Could Walk on a Rainbow," about a year ago. I had help doing this and did sell a few of them. It's copy written.

People with disabilities can do things kinda special for us. I have Tourette's Syndrome and am on medication for this. I have an addictive personality and this caused me a gambling problem. I went to outpatient in South Dakota and inpatient treatment several times.

My family has an inherited cabin in the Black Hills of South Dakota which we frequent quite often. We hunt deer and elk from there and really enjoy the hills, pine trees, spruce trees, and the fresh air. We love the lakes and we fish quite a lot. Trout, Northern Pike, perch, crappie and Walleye Pike are from the lakes.

I had a feeling that I could write and hope to write more books.

Author House welcomed me as another writer (beginner) and I appreciate that.

I hope readers enjoy my work on this subject.

I will be writing more for you.
