"Our forefathers left the shores of their ancestral homes to seek better lives here. They came, they saw and they conquered, with the help of fellow human beings, who, though initially resisted the foreigners, accepted them and allowed their coexistence, which brought about the now most powerful nation on the surface of the earth. Fate provided for our forefathers to inhabit this land. Fate provided that we as offsprings would inherit the land- the same kind of fate that had directed the paths of these so called "illegal aliens" to this land of opportunity. If our forefathers were not denied their destinies and dreams at the time, then do not let us deny these aliens their own destinies and dreams now, or ever......."

Having heard of America as the beacon of hope to other nationals; a country where things just work perfectly, he had anticipated a smooth start- until his friend Ahmed, with whom earlier arrangements had been made- left him stranded at the airport.
