About the Book

This book is of life experiences written in the form of poetry. It is from the heart, the feelings of what I am feeling at the time. It is a God-given talent that only He could give. I have been writing poetry since I was 10 years old and I am now 64 years old. I was the fifth of six kids. I was born September 23, 1945 in a small town in Colorado two months after World War II ended, in Las Animas, Colorado, a town 83 miles southeast of Pueblo, Colorado, where everyone knew one another and probably all related. My poetry became a part of me and I feel it's worth reading.

About the Author

She was raised in a small town in Colorado in an alcoholic, drug and a very abusive family where she found comfort in writing poetry, and all her poetry is from the heart. She feels it is a God-given talent that God has given her. Writing comes natural to her. She can write a poem in just a few minutes. She has been told by family and friends, also some strangers, who have read some of her poetry to put it in a book. And she feels her poetry could give courage for others to write. If she can write poetry anyone can write if they feel they have a writing talent. She says, "Go for it!" She is seeing her dream of having a book published come true.
