MAY 18
Father Colucci left his room at the Aparthotel on Karlstrasse. He has an eerie feeling that he has been followed and that someone had entered his room while away. He called Bishop Faulker, the Bishop of Chur, to meet him at St. Anton Church on Minervastrasse. The priest felt he had to report his findings to someone of higher authority as soon as he could, just in case his feeling was correct.
Father Colucci was glad that he brought his topcoat and hat. The wind was biting and he still had 3 blocks to walk. He loved walking along the streets of Zurich, but today he was happy when he finally arrived at the doors to the church.
He arrived a half hour early, he needed time to reflect and how he would tell the Bishop in such a way that the Bishop wouldn't think him crazy or a 'conspiracy junky'. He entered the church, genuflected and sat in a middle pew, away from anyone who entered, he needed privacy with his thoughts.
At the seminar, he was assigned to just take notes and get a feel for how the delegates from other nations were dealing with religious, political, health care and financial matters. One of the meeting doors was restricted but as he opened it, and entered, what he seen and heard made him cringe, this could not be happening.
A US Senator was talking about how the need for one world government is finally overdo. The talk strayed from economy collapses and the restriction of intolerant religious beliefs. The odd thing was one of the speakers was an Islamic religious leader who was giving his full support to the Senator. Father Colucci decided enough was enough and left the meeting hall as quietly as he could and hoping not to be noticed.
As he sat in the church, thinking of just what the correct phrases he should use when a quiet sense, like a small breeze brushed the back of his head. Someone has entered the church quietly and was now sitting directly behind him. His greatest fear was that he wouldn't be able to tell what he had learned.
Father Colucci, takes a quick glance behind. Quietly he asks, "are you here for me"?
"Yes Father, I am although I am not sure why."
shaken, the priest asks calmly, "You are here to kill me for what I seen and heard at the conference?"
Garcia affirmed that he was. After a short five minute interview Garcia slowly stood up. The priest looked him in the eye and said, "May God have mercy on your soul!".
"Thank you, Father," Garcia said as he slowly placed the barrel of the pistol to the priest's head and pulled the trigger, turned around slowly and walked out of the church.
As Garcia was walking down the front stairs of St. Anton's, he noticed the businessman once again. Garcia turned right, walked slowly to the center of town, hailed a taxi and returned to his hotel.
